Development & Operations Internship

Taliesin Nexus is seeking interns who will work with our Development & Operations Teams to plan and execute strategy for donor cultivation, general promotions, and the maintenance of a quality working environment to further our mission of training and promoting emerging filmmakers.

Key areas of responsibilities

  • Process donations and memberships
  • Record data in fundraising database
  • Collaborate with TN staff on development projects
  • Draft thank you notes to foundations and major donors, draft other correspondence
  • Correspond with donors and gatekeepers to schedule meetings and follow-up
  • Research major donors and generate donor bios
  • Help with mailings
  • Research marketing targets
  • Ordering and replenishing office supplies

Type of internship

  • 10-20 hours per week at our Downtown Los Angeles office near Pershing Square (convenient to Red, Purple, Blue, and Expo Metro Lines)
  • College students must receive academic credit. Non-students will be offered $10.00 per hour

Taliesin Nexus

Taliesin Nexus is a 501(c)3 which trains and promotes emerging liberty-minded film directors, screenwriters, and producers by teaching the craft of telling narrative stories. Through a suite of programs which provide professional opportunities and substantive mentorship from entertainment industry veterans, participants gain career-building experience to advance their careers.
